The fish above is the only one I've ever caught. It put up quite a fight; pulling 170 yards of line off the reel. I've seen a fair number of them cruising along flats but these tend to be very spooky. They are viewed as one of the most challenging adversaries for fly fishing. If you want to catch a bunch of them wait until they spawn and go to the wrecks and reefs where they congregate and use live crabs for bait. If you want to pull your hair out in frustration you can pursue them by fly fishing on the flats.
