Bolivia Fishing
Bolivia has two main fisheries that are worth going to try that I know of - Payara, Peacock Bass, and other Amazonian fish in the north/northeast area, and Golden Dorado farther south. I have not fished the Golden Dorado fishery, but I have heard good things. The fishery in the northeast near the border with Brazil is fantastic. There are some good Payara areas, which is special because there are relatively few good places to fish for those. The Peacock Bass don't get very big there, with few over 10lbs, but there are a lot of them. There are some good areas for Redtail Catfish and Suribim Catfish. They also have some great areas for Sardinata, a very underrated gamefish.
The wildlife in some parts of Bolivia is absolutely amazing. Definitely some of the best I have seen.
